MANILA, Philippines – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said on Thursday, November 13, that many of the personalities allegedly involved in the multi-billion-peso infrastructure corruption scandal will spend Christmas in jail this year.
“Bago magpasko, marami dito sa napangalanan dito ay palagay ko ay matatapos na ‘yung kaso, buo na ‘yung kaso nila. Makukulong na sila. Wala silang Merry Christmas. Before Christmas, makukulong na sila,” Marcos said in a press briefing on Thursday, November 13, around three months after he promised to go after those involved in flood control corruption.
